METAVASIS is a vacation property with undisturbed views of the Ionian Sea. The design is based on the principle of transition from a bold landscape, to a quiet shelter that gently integrates into the surrounding area while maintaining an inseparable relationship with the coastal environment. The total space is designed in two zones that form a 90 degree angle, their connection point is the main entrance of the house. A passage that invites visitors to an exploration path inside indicates the transition to a new state of disconnection from the intense everyday life. Both the common areas of the house and the private ones are formed with the intention of responding to the natural environment and not to the built one. Natural light and the connection between indoor and outdoor spaces are key elements of the architectural composition. A tranquil place to live.
